Gelcoats are modified thermosetting vinylester or unsaturated polyester resins. It has very high gloss for smoother finishes and excellent wettability of glass and is compatible with pigment paste to make good tools. It is designed to give good weathering properties and has minimal sagging. It is versatile and can be used in all commonly used processes like RTM, Sprayup, Handlayup, Infusion, etc.

It can be customized to make it flame retardant, UV stabilized as per requirement of customers.

It is most commonly used resin with moderate physical and mechanical properties and is used in various industries like Railways, Leisure Equipments, General Moulding, Artificial Store and Marbles, etc. It is versatile product compatible to various processes such as Hand Layup, SMC, DMC, RTM, Spray up, Vaccum Infusion, Filament Winding, etc.

It is improved polyester resin having better physical and mechanical properties than normal Orthophthalate Resin. It has better thermal stability, more strength and better resistance to water for marine applictions. It is also resistant to mild acidic and alkaline environment. Its corrosion resistant properties make it ideal resin system for manufacturing tanks, ductings, pipes, gratings, etc and is also used for marine application such as boats, slides, hovercraft, etc. It is commonly used product for nacelle covers in windmills. 

It is a versatile resin and can adapt to processes like Hand Layup, Spray up, RTM, etc. 

It has excellent hydrolytic stability and chemical resistance to corrosion along with good mechanical properties. The mechanical properties can be further enhanced due to its good wetting and adhesion to glass fibers. These resins are commonly used in processes like hand layup, filament winding, etc. It is specially designed for corrosion resistant process equipment, storage and transportation tanks, pipes, ducts, hoods, etc.

The properties of this resin is similar to Isophthalate Resin with slight increase in heat deflection temperature tolerance. Apart from exhibiting good mechanical properties they are moderately resistant to corrosion. They can be found in applications where acids, bases and hydrocarbons like oils and gasolines are involved. They are also used in general applications like automotive parts, amusement parks, machine covers, etc.

This resin has excellent mechanical properties with a unique characteristic of non yellow transparent and clear appearance. Due to this property this resin is mainly used in the field where physical properties and appearance is more important like sculptures, idols, table tops, etc.
